Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a Services Assistant for Gumeracha District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital's Casual Pool. You will provide catering, laundry and cleaning services across the health unit, with duties including food preparation, service and delivery to patients, and general housekeeping.

The role operates on a seven-day roster with morning and afternoon shifts; casual pool. The successful candidate will join a supportive team in a rural Adelaide Hills community.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of vital support duties including food preparation, cleaning, laundry and stock handling to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following clear instructions while adhering to infection control and WHS standards.
• Provide respectful assistance to patients, clients, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and supporting culturally safe and inclusive care.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace by participating in training, quality improvement, and helping identify opportunities for better service delivery.
• Enjoy variety in your work covering mornings and afternoons, seven days a week
