Job summary

Mona Vale Doctors in Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches is seeking a Registered Nurse for a casual contract. The role includes immunisations, wound care, and assisting GPs with procedures in a general practice setting. AHPRA registration, CPR, and a minimum of three years of clinical experience are required.

The practice emphasises high-quality care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment. Start date early January 2027 with training in late 2026.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
• Immunisation certificate and experience administering vaccines.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of infection prevention and control principles.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Working with Children check.

Responsibilities

• Childhood immunisations and early childhood checks.
• Travel and other immunisations.
• Wound care.
• Assisting GPs with procedures (skin excisions, IUD insertions and iron infusions).
• Infection control and cold chain management.
• Management of supplies and consumables.
• Health assessments and preventative health initiatives.
• Chronic disease management and care planning.
• Patient education and health promotion.
• Maintaining recall and reminder system.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Supporting practice accreditation and quality improvement activities.
