Job summary

A historic family-oriented pub in the Yarra Valley is seeking enthusiastic Casual Food and Beverage Staff. In this role, you will provide exceptional service while delivering food and beverage offerings. Responsibilities include friendly table or bar service, accurate order taking, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation of service areas. The position offers 15–20 hours of work weekly and requires strong customer service skills and flexibility for various working hours. Training and support are provided to all staff.

• Previous experience in hospitality, café, bar or restaurant service preferred.
• Willingness to obtain RSA certificate if not currently held.

The Home Hotel is a historic, family-oriented pub located beside the Warburton Trail in the beautiful Yarra Valley.

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Food and Beverage Staff to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional service while delivering food and beverage offerings in line with venue standards. You’ll support the front-of-house team in maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and professional service environment while ensuring a positive guest experience.

We can offer 15–20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient table or bar service to guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas, tables, and equipment.
• Assist with setting up and packing down dining or event areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver smooth and timely service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, café, bar or restaurant service preferred.
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
