Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT's Uniting Early Learning Medowie is seeking casual Inclusion Support Educators to join our pool. We provide care for children from birth to five years, with a focus on building nurturing relationships and inclusive learning experiences.

As a Certificate III Qualified educator, you’ll support learning outcomes under the National Quality Standards and EYLF, develop learning stories, and collaborate with families and colleagues to plan curriculum.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education completed.
• Experience in inclusion support preferred.
• Ability to write learning stories and support curriculum planning using the Early Years Learning Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality education and care to children in accordance with NQS and EYLF.
• Develop positive relationships with children, families and the community.
• Facilitate play-based learning and support curriculum planning.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Certificate III Qualified Inclusion Support Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!

Your work may include:

• Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.


• Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.

Who we’re looking for

• Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous inclusion support experience (preferred)


• Be passionate about working with children of all ages.


• A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)


• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members


• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
