Job summary

Headstart Early Learning Centre Geelong is seeking a casual Assistant Educator to join a supportive team of Early Childhood professionals. You will contribute to an outstanding learning environment for our children and be supported to excel in your Early Childhood career.

Applicants should hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, understand EYLF and NQS, and have experience with 0–5 age groups, plus WWCC and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven sector experience with children aged 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a high-quality, safe learning environment for children aged 0–5 years.
• Engage with children through developmentally appropriate activities and play.
