About the Role

The JBS Pork Division is currently recruiting a Drover (Stockperson) on a Casual capacity to assist with daily livestock handling, recordkeeping and movements. This role will best suit someone who is passionate, motivated and is available to work weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

• Daily livestock handling including livestock movements and pen up.
• Maintaining accurate records of stock movements.
• Ensure compliance with JBS Australia policies and procedures, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare and Environmental obligations.
• Perform other duties as required.

About You

• Strong knowledge of meat processing operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of animal welfare practices and requirements, along with unconditional compliance to these requirements.
• Sound knowledge of employment, WHS, QA and company policies and procedures.
• High level communication skills, initiative and attention to detail.
