Job summary

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is seeking a motivated Loading Dock Attendant to join the North Terrace Loading Dock team on a casual basis. You will support day-to-day dock operations, ensure efficient receipt and storage of event freight, and assist with forklift operations as needed.

The role requires a can-do attitude, WHS knowledge, and the ability to meet physical demands. You will work varied hours including weekends, in a prime CBD location with access to transport and parking benefits.

Qualifications

• Forklift license / High Risk Work Licence is required.
• Thorough knowledge of WHS laws, standards, policies, and regulations.
• Be able to carry out the physical capabilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the North Terrace Loading Dock.
• Receive, store, and collect event freight and manage good collection with identification stickers.
• Operate a forklift as required to support event logistics.
• Provide scheduling input to Loading Dock Manager and ensure timely receipt of deliveries.
