Job summary

Help at Hand Support Services in Preston, VIC, is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team. You will provide person-centred support, assisting clients with daily activities, accompanying them on outings, medical appointments, and offering companionship and practical help at home.

Applicants must have a current Police check, Cert III in Disability or equivalent, a valid Working with Children check, First Aid/CPR, a full Australian driver’s license and access to a reliable,

Qualifications

• Own a fully insured and reliable vehicle.
• Current Police check or international police check (within 6 months).
• Cert III in Disability or above or equivalent experience.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• First aid/CPR certificates (current).
• Full and clean Australian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support and assist with daily activities.
• Assist clients with outings, appointments, and social activities.
• Support clients to remain independent in their home environment.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and care team.
