Job summary

Life Without Barriers is hiring a Casual Disability Support Worker in Narrabri, NSW. You will provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes or communities, travel between sites, and work flexible hours across Monday to Sunday, typically 7am–6pm. No overnights or sleepovers required.

You will assist with personal care, mobility and medication, following person-centred plans. The role requires a NSW driver’s licence, a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) and the ability to work

Qualifications

• NSW driver’s licence or higher, with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work flexible hours across the week, including public holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop.
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in homes or the community.
• Assist with daily personal care such as bathing, shaving and toileting.
• Provide medication assistance and mobility support as required.
• Advocate for client choice and independence within person-centred plans.
