Job summary

Centacare Catholic Family Services is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join on a casual basis across Adelaide metropolitan area, including Plympton, Elizabeth, Hectorville, Woodville and Noarlunga. You will deliver high-quality direct care to clients and support them in achieving personal goals.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability Services or Individual Support or acceptable alternative.
• Willing to undertake Certificate III within 6 months and complete within 2 years of employment.
• Valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• NDIS Worker Check valid.
• Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• NDIS Induction Modules and Worker Orientation completed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support clients with daily living activities and personal care, individually or in a team.
• Facilitate community access opportunities including social events and medical appointments.
• Maintain accurate documentation to monitor client progress and health care.
• Implement educational, skill development, and social activity programs.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing Individual Support Plans for personalized care.
• Provide person-centred support to foster independence and goal achievement.
