Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is hiring a Cook to join our team. You will prepare fresh, vibrant Mexican dishes and contribute to the high standard of our meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Experience is helpful, but we value coaches, eagerness to learn, and a can-do attitude. We offer free uniform, culinary training and development, discounted meals, and cultural celebrations such as Day of the Dead and Cinco de Mayo.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience highly desirable.

Job Description

The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You'll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it's not everything. What we mean is:

• Kitchen experience is great but not essential
• Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• Can do attitude and can be relied upon
• Available for a range of shifts including mornings, nights and weekends
