Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will prepare fresh meals daily, contribute to a fast-paced service, and bring vibrant Mexican flavours to life for our guests.

The role emphasises hands-on cooking, food safety, and teamwork. You’ll work across shifts, including evenings and weekends, to help deliver consistent quality and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy hospitality kitchen
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Willingness to work across nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh dishes daily and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Cook on the line during service and assist during peak periods

The Role

As a Cook, you’re at the heart of the restaurant. You’ll prepare fresh food every day, keep things moving during busy service, and bring our vibrant Mexican flavours to life. From prepping ingredients to cooking on the line, you’ll take pride in serving up great-quality food for our regulars and new guests alike.

What We’re Looking For

We appreciate diverse experience, but ideally, you’ll bring:

• Experience working in a kitchen or cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
• A good understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability across a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
