EFNLHN's remote Wudinna community is seeking a Casual Community Support Worker (WHD3/WHD4) to help people stay independent at home. You'll work flexibly within a Consumer Directed Care model, delivering tailored support across activities of daily living and community access, with shifts arranged on a casual roster.
Casual roles offer a 7 day roster, with WHD3 and WHD4 classifications and hourly rates plus a 25% casual loading.
Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a WHD-3 or WHD-4.
In the remote outback community of Wudinna, the work of a Community Support Worker carries real weight. At Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), you'll be the person who helps someone stay in the home they love - offering practical support, genuine connection, and the kind of care that makes independence possible. This casual position is available until 30 June 2027.
Working within EFNLHN's Consumer Directed Care model, you'll deliver support tailored to each client's goals and preferences - because here, the consumer shapes the care. Shifts, duties, and frequency are guided by the people you support, giving your work real purpose and variety.
EFNLHN serves one of South Australia's most geographically expansive regions, and the Wudinna Community and Allied Health team sits at the heart of that mission. As part of SA Health, you'll have access to generous salary packaging benefits that meaningfully increase your take-home pay, along with the professional support of a broader health network behind you. Working in a small, close-knit team in regional SA means your contribution is visible and valued every single day - this isn't a role where your work disappears into a crowd. For those drawn to remote community health, Wudinna offers a genuine sense of belonging and the satisfaction of knowing the people you support.
