Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in the community around Cunnamulla and surrounding areas. The role involves travelling to client homes to assist with daily living activities and personal care, following each client’s Care Plan, and helping with community activities and errands.

You’ll work as part of a not-for-profit organisation with salary packaging options, allowances, and travel reimbursements, contributing to better health and wellbeing for people in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience with smartphones, tablets, laptops and related tech
• Strong interpersonal skills for one-on-one client support

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

Education

Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification
