Aveo is seeking casual Personal Care Attendants to support residents at Peregian Springs Country Club, near Peregian Beach. You will deliver high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents, focusing on wellbeing and independence.

Join a community-driven team and help residents stay connected, with flexible shifts from early morning to evening and opportunities to contribute across neighbouring Aveo communities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or Home Care Worker.
• Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required).
• Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (required).
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more.
• Interact with residents within their homes or in the community (driving to appointments or light exercise).
• Provide care tailored to resident needs in line with care plans.
• Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date.
• Follow Aveo OH&S policies and report safety incidents.
