Job Description

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team‑oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!

About the job
  • Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
  • Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
  • Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Shift Details (subject to change)
  • Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
  • Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour

Saturday: $38.78 per hour

Sunday: $45.24 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
  • Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
