Job summary

Quayclean is recruiting casual cleaners for the University of Queensland Gatton Campus. You will join a supportive team to keep learning environments clean, hygienic and safe for students, educators and staff during early morning shifts.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 10am (20 hours per week); prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential; eligibility to work in Australia and a current Police Check are required. Quayclean offers inclusive benefits and a safety-first workplace.

About the Role

We are recruiting Casual Cleaners at our University of Queensland Gatton Campus.

You will work as part of a supportive team to maintain clean, hygienic and safe learning environments for students, educators and staff.

Shift details: Monday to Friday - 6am until 10am (20 hours a week)

What You’ll Be Doing

• General cleaning duties across classrooms, amenities, offices and common areas
• Rubbish removal and surface disinfection
• Vacuuming, mopping and wiping surfaces
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Supporting deep cleans or school holiday cleans as required

You Should Have

• Cleaning experience preferred (but not essential)
• High personal presentation and good communication skills
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Current Police Check
