The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, has proven experience, is reliable, punctual, and a team player who thrives under pressure while delivering high-quality dishes for guests and visitors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment.
• Be efficient, hands on and organised to work through mad rush moments with a smile.
• Well presented, punctual and reliable.
• Team player with a passion and skill for delivering food at a standard that complements our Boutique Hotel.
• Ability to work under pressure, taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively.
• Positive mindset and a can do attitude.
• An understanding of food safety, WHS and HACCP principles.
• Reliable and motivated.
• Work rights in Australia.

Lancemore Milawa, located in King Valley, is set at the base of the Alpine National Park and is nestled amongst award winning wineries with a backdrop of snowcapped mountains. Refurbished in 2023, and drawing inspiration from the local environment, the 40-room boutique hotel is a carefully curated space that is reimagining country luxury.

Merlot Restaurant is looking to build a strong team of Chefs delivering high quality, consistent and memorable food experience for our guests and visitors.

About You

• Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment
• Be efficient, "hands on" and organised to work through those 'mad rush' moments with a smile
• Well presented, punctual and reliable
