Job summary

Des's Group in Port Augusta seeks an experienced driver with an LR/MR license to provide safe passenger transport and high-quality customer service. An LP accreditation is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for retirees seeking a couple of hours daily within a supportive, rules-based environment.

You will uphold road safety, assist passengers, and ensure enjoyable trips while maintaining local knowledge of the area and routes.

Job description

Minimum of LR class licence is required with a MR or HR license preferred

LP accreditation is also required, we will assist suitable applicants.

The position will have the responsibilities for the following:

• To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
• Have a current LR, HR or MR driver's license (essential)
• Have aLarge Passenger (LP) Vehicle Driver Accreditation (not essential to apply for the position, but an advantage)
• Shows a proven safe driving record
• Demonstrates well-developed personal communication skills
• Has high level of customer service skills
• Has good record keeping skills
• Has the ability to listen and communicate well
• Demonstrates a good understanding of Australian Road Rules
• Has a good, sound working knowledge of the local town, streets, areas and activities
