Job summary

The Fairbairn Golf Club is seeking additional casual bar staff with experience in customer service within a hospitality setting to support clubhouse service and golf operations. Key responsibilities include opening and closing the venue, bar operations and presentation, golf bookings and membership enquiries, and managing golf competition starts and closures.

RSA or the ability to obtain one is required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with members and visitors.
• Pride in delivering excellent customer service to guests.
• Current RSA or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisation skills.
• Experience with golf club management systems would be advantageous.
• Understanding of golf operations is desirable.

Fairbairn Golf Club seeks the employment of additional casual bar staff who have experience in customer service in a hospitality environment. The bar staff will assist the Club Manager to ensure that members are happy and satisfied with the quality of service they are receiving with respect to clubhouse service and golf operations.

• Golf competition starting and closure

About you

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with members and visitors
• An ability to take pride in giving great service to customers
• Holding a current RSA or the ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and within a team environment
• Possess good time management and organisation skills
• Experience in the use of business management systems relating to a golf club management setting would be an advantage - training will be provided as required
• An understanding of Golf Operations would be desired
