Job summary

Autism Association of Western Australia is seeking casual support workers to provide emotional, social and practical support to people with Autism and their families across the Perth area.

Roles include helping children before/after school and during weekends/holidays, and assisting adults with daily living skills and social connections. A current driver's licence and Autism experience are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Autism is required.
• Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Full driver's Licence (No P-plates)
• Flexible working hours with an ongoing roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional, social and practical support to people with Autism and their families.
• Children and young people may need assistance before/after school, weekends or holidays in various locations across the Perth area.
• Adults may need help with day-to-day activities, social connections through sport or community groups, and daily living skills development.
