Job summary

Grampians Health in Horsham is seeking a Casual Allied Health Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team. You’ll support therapy programs, rehabilitation activities, equipment management and a range of clinical tasks across inpatient, community and aged care settings.

The role offers casual employment with opportunities to develop clinical skills in a regional healthcare setting. You’ll work under supervision with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, among others.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or completion of the first two years of an Allied Health undergraduate degree.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to person-centred care and teamwork.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual and group therapy programs.
• Support patient mobility, rehabilitation and functional activities.
