Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our team at Wesley Gardens, Belrose Residential Aged Care, in Sydney. You will help with dishwashing, cleaning and sanitising prep areas, and maintaining kitchen and service floor safety.

Roster includes Thursday and Friday shifts; a proactive, team-focused approach and good personal hygiene are required. Experience in kitchens and aged care is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in kitchens and supporting daily kitchen operations.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Pride in personal appearance and hygiene standards.
• Previous retirement living/Aged Care sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Wash kitchenware using commercial dishwashers or by hand.
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas, benchtops and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on kitchen and service floors.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in hazard-free work zones.
• Be an adaptable, proactive team player with a can-do attitude.
