Job summary

The University of Queensland Business School invites expressions of interest from Tutors and Facilitators to be engaged on a casual basis at the St Lucia campus. Casual Academics will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, prepare and deliver tutorials, mark assessments, and conduct student consultations.

Ideal candidates hold at least an undergraduate degree with GPA 5.0, may be enrolled in a relevant postgraduate program, and have teaching or public speaking experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 5.0.
• Postgraduate coursework or HDR enrollment and/or relevant industry experience preferred.
• Strong teaching, public speaking, and small-group facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver tutorials for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
• Mark assessments and provide feedback.
• Conduct student consultations and foster a positive learning environment.
• Assist in activity-based seminars, tutorials, and workshops.
