Responsibilities include processing various payment methods, following store policies, and offering help with questions while working flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Basic math skills and accurate handling of cash and electronic payments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scan and ring up customer items in a timely manner.
• Handle payments including cash, credit, and debit, providing correct change when needed.
• Process returns, exchanges, and gift cards per store policies.
• Assist customers with questions and store information.
• Bag groceries providing protection and ease of carry.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and balance the till at shift start and end.
• Follow policies for age-restricted items and safety procedures.
• Support other tasks such as restocking shelves when needed.
