Job summary

Nepean Hospital in NSW is seeking a Caseload Midwife to provide continuity of midwifery care across pregnancy, labour and postnatal periods. You will build trusting relationships with women, empower informed decisions, and contribute to positive birth experiences within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current AHPRA registration as a Midwife, experience in antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care, and the ability to work in an on-call model across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA.
• Experience in antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care.
• Ability to organise and prioritise work, and to work an on-call model (24/7).

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity of midwifery care for a caseload of women across pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal period.
• Plan, coordinate and implement care in collaboration with the Women and Children’s Health Services team.
• Contribute to continuous midwifery practice development and service improvement.
