Job summary

Apprenticeships Queensland is seeking a motivated Carpentry Apprentice to join our team in Queensland. You will learn on residential and commercial projects, from framing and formwork to finishing and renovations, while completing formal training.

You’ll gain practical experience, develop core carpentry skills, and have opportunities to grow into a qualified tradesperson in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum p1 licence and reliable vehicle.
• Genuine interest in carpentry and construction.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures.
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• As a Carpentry Apprentice, you’ll work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
• Learn framing and formwork, finishing and renovations.
• Gain practical experience while completing your formal training, with opportunities to grow into a qualified tradesperson.
