Job summary

HIA Apprentices invites motivated individuals to begin a carpentry career through a hands-on apprenticeship. You will build structures on construction sites and receive comprehensive training across all carpentry disciplines.

You will be supported by HIA Apprentices throughout your training and employment, with emphasis on reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Driver’s licence or access to reliable transport and a White Card are required or obtainable before starting.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn.
• Punctual, reliable and hard-working.
• Committed to completing your apprenticeship and becoming a qualified carpenter.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Driver’s licence or access to reliable transport.
• CI Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on building structures and working on construction sites.
• Gain full training in all aspects of the carpentry industry.
