Job summary

Growth Form Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a qualified Carpenter to join its formwork, steelfixing and concreting teams on residential and commercial projects. You will read plans, measure and cut timber, construct frames, install formwork and support safe, accurate on-site delivery.

The role requires a Certificate III in Carpentry and relevant site experience, with the ability to work collaboratively with builders and engineers and to maintain high safety and quality standards on active

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade.
• 12 months' hands-on carpentry/formwork experience.
• Ability to read drawings and technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans to determine formwork requirements.
• Measure, mark and cut timber and other materials to size.
• Construct and install timber frameworks and formwork systems.
• Set out and assemble floor joists and structural components.
• Install and secure formwork panels and bracing for concrete placement.
• Ensure dimensions, levels and alignment meet drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with builders, engineers and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain tools and uphold workplace safety practices.
