A1 Facade & Interiors Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based construction company, is seeking a qualified Carpenter to support ongoing commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across Sydney. This full-time role is based in Prestons, NSW, offering a salary range of AUD 90,000–100,000 per year plus superannuation.

You will perform timber framing, wall partitions, door installations, interior finishing, and facade/cladding support structures while adhering to safety and building standards.

Formación

• Relevant qualification in Carpentry.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in commercial fit-out or refurbishment.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications to determine carpentry requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Construct and install timber frameworks, wall partitions, ceiling structures and supporting frames.
• Carry out carpentry work for commercial fit-out, refurbishment and interior construction projects.
• Install doors, door frames, skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry and fixtures.
• Construct framing and support structures for facade and cladding works.
• Carry out repairs, alterations and finishing carpentry on existing structures.
• Ensure compliance with building standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

What you'll do

About you

• Relevant qualification in Carpentry
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Carpenter
• Experience in commercial fit-out, refurbishment or general construction carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Competency in using carpentry hand tools, power tools and equipment
• Good understanding of construction methods and workplace safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
