Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
• Construct and erect wall frames, ceiling frames and other structural components as required.
• Install flooring systems, doors, window frames, external cladding and other carpentry components.
• Assemble and install timber structures and fixtures using appropriate tools, fasteners and equipment.
• Prepare materials and layouts according to project specifications.
• Check measurements, alignment and structural accuracy to ensure quality workmanship.
• Repair, replace and renovate existing timber structures and fittings where required.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete projects within required timeframes.

VERTIQLE CARPENTRY is seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will undertake general carpentry work, assist with construction activities, and ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

This is an on-site position based at 9 Diosma Court, Cranbourne North, VIC 3977.
