Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Carpenter to join our Defence division, based at Keswick Barracks in South Australia. This permanent full-time role supports delivery of Property and Asset Services across SA and the Northern Territory.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction or maintenance, hands-on with carpentry or related trades, and is proficient with basic hand and power tools. A White Card and Australian citizenship with ability to obtain Defence clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a construction, maintenance, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on exposure to assisting trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or landscapers, or be a qualified Carpenter.
• Familiarity with using basic hand and power tools.
• Experience performing manual labour tasks such as lifting, digging, or site clean-up.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work safely on active job sites.
• Experience working as part of a team in fast-paced or physically demanding settings.
• White Card.
• You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
