Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant (Band 3) to join the nursing team at our Liverpool site. You will support registered nurses and the multi-disciplinary team in delivering high standards of patient care on a busy ward.

You will undertake tasks such as patient observations, assisting with washing, nutrition and hydration, and contributing to infection control and documentation.

Qualifications

• Band 3 HealthCare Assistant role within an NHS setting.
• Experience supporting registered nurses in ward tasks.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support Registered Nurses in daily tasks on the ward.
• Perform patient observations and assist with personal care.
• Assist with venepuncture / cannulation after training.
• Help patients with washing, dressing and nutrition.
• Maintain documentation and infection control practices.
• Contribute to a clean, safe ward environment.
