Job summary

Wellways Australia Limited is recruiting a Vocational Navigator to support carers transitioning into work and volunteering. You will build trusting relationships, assess needs, and design tailored vocational plans to help individuals achieve employment goals.

Role involves delivering one-on-one and group coaching, coordinating post-placement support, and connecting carers with relevant community services for broader needs. Applicants with career coaching backgrounds are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
• Current valid Driver License is required.
• Satisfactory National Police Records Check.
• Working with Children and NDIS Worker Screening Checks are required.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – online course.
• Right to Work within Australia.
• Lived and Living Experience as a Family Carer.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing individualised support to carers transitioning into the workforce and volunteer space.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop tailored vocational plans.
• Deliver one‑on‑one and group coaching sessions.
• Provide post‑placement support and connect carers with community services.
