Job summary

Nurse Next Door is expanding its in-home care team in Queensland. We are seeking kind, caring caregivers to provide personalised care across early mornings, afternoons, evenings or nights, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Role involves assisting with daily living, companionship, and following tailored care plans while maintaining safety. Prior experience is welcome and driving together with reliable transport is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support or Disability.
• National Police Check – Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector.
• Working With Children Check.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
• NDIS Worker Screener Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium, compassionate, personalised care.
• Assist daily living activities: personal care, meals, light housekeeping, transport, companionship.
• Follow client’s care plan developed by Care Designer (RN).
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Complete records and documentation accurately.

About the Role

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship

• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)

• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.

• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience

• National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)

• Working With Children Check

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion

• NDIS Worker Screener Clearance
