Job description

About Us…

Want to grow your career while helping people find a job they love?

At Breakthru, you won’t be stuck behind a desk — you’ll be out in the community, working side-by-side with clients where it matters most.

As part of the Royal Rehab Group, you’ll be backed by one of Australia’s most respected not-for-profits, with over 125 years of experience delivering life-changing disability and rehabilitations services. This means you’ll have the stability, resources, and support to grow your career and make a real impact in people’s lives.

About The Role…

Breakthru is proud to be selected by the Department of Social Services to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. This means we’ll be supporting more people than ever to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers — and we’re growing our team to help make it happen.

As a Career Coach with Breakthru, you’ll work side-by-side with participants to explore their career goals, build confidence, and support them into meaningful employment. You’ll take the time to understand their strengths and aspirations, offering tailored coaching, linking them to opportunities, and collaborating with employers to open doors. It’s a fast-paced, people-focused environment where your energy, empathy, and commitment to outcomes will shine.

You’ll also work closely with employers to understand their business needs and provide staffing solutions that genuinely fit. From delivering training and promoting inclusive hiring practices to keeping accurate records and driving engagement through proactive networking, this is a role where your relationship‑building skills and passion for making a difference will have real impact.

Please note: The main work location will be Tuggerah with some floating between The Entrance and Gosford.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.

  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities
  • Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.

About you…

You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. With experience, or a genuine passion, for employment services. You’re confident supporting people, building trust and guiding them into meaningful careers. You’re outcomes focused, highly organised and thrive in a fast paced, people first environment.

You love taking the time to really understand an employer’s business; its people, culture, and challenges so you can identify staffing solutions that truly fit. Your relationship building skills help you connect with clients and employers alike, while your confidence in delivering training and knowledge of inclusive employment practices allows you to make a lasting impact.

You’re proactive with marketing and networking, and your attention to detail ensures records are kept accurately and professionally. Above all, you approach your work with integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person‑centred service.
