Qualifications

The heart of the role

As a Care Manager, you’ll lead with purpose – supporting your team and making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents every day. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance. This position is a maternity leave cover, running from January to August 2026.

What will you do?
  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home ensuring our residents receive the best care available.
  • Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education.
  • Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes, providing solutions to reduce any risks.
  • Lead compliance with AN-ACC assessments.
  • Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents – including case conferencing with families and carers.
  • Fostering a strong team environment.
  • Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits.
  • Provide insights and innovative solutions for continuous clinical improvement.
  • Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care.
What will you bring?
  • Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA is essential.

  • Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and triaging skills as well as strong care planning capabilities.
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in fostering a reporting culture balanced with your effective investigative skills.
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
