Opal HealthCare is seeking a Care Manager to join Rutherford Park Care Community in Maitland. You will lead the clinical and care workforce to deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care, in partnership with the General Manager and regional teams.

Reporting to the GM, you will balance clinical governance, workforce capability and operational performance, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC requirements.

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (minimum 3 years).
• Demonstrated experience leading clinical teams in residential aged care.
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead clinical care delivery ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory obligations.
• Oversee care planning, admissions reviews, and changes in resident condition.
• Monitor and analyse clinical indicators, incidents and risk trends.
• Apply evidence-based practice to improve outcomes.
• Build relationships with GPs, hospitals and allied health providers.
• Ensure adherence to Aged Care Act 2024 requirements and reporting obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement, audit readiness, and clinical excellence.
• Foster a values-led, high-performing culture.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on leadership role, balancing clinical governance, workforce capability, and operational performance.

About You

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (minimum 3 years)
