NSW Health's Ryde Hospital is seeking an unaccredited Trainee in Cardiology to join the Coronary Care Unit team. The role focuses on reviewing admitted patients and developing detailed management plans in collaboration with the Cardiology SRMO, ensuring safe, timely care.

Under supervision, you will coordinate patient reviews, assist with diagnostic test results, pathology and radiology reports, and respond to cardiology consult requests across the facility, contributing to high-quality patient

Responsabilidades

• Review patients admitted to the Coronary Care Unit with the Cardiology SRMO and ensure a detailed management plan for every patient.
• Act as team co-ordinator for patients admitted under cardiology to ensure timely, appropriate and safe comprehensive care.
• In consultation with the admitting cardiologist, develop the patient’s clinical direction for a smooth path with minimal delays and optimal outcomes.
• Review patients in the Emergency department prior to admission and attend cardiology consult requests from inpatient teams across the facility.
• Work under supervision, assisting and managing regular reviews of cardiology diagnostic test results, pathology and radiology reports.
• Implement appropriate action in consultation with consultants.
