Job summary

Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District is seeking a Cardiologist – Imaging / Heart Failure as a Visiting Medical Officer at Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital. You will provide expert cardiac assessment and management, support service development, and contribute to a regional cardiac care program.

The role focuses on high-quality care for emergency, inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients, with a view to advancing research and education within the department.

Qualifications

• FRACP Fellowship (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) required.
• AHPRA Registration required.
• WWCC required.
• Valid NSW Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical assessment and management of patients in the cardiac service.
• Support development of cardiac services and a culture of best practice.
• Deliver high-quality specialist cardiac services to emergency, inpatients and outpatients.
