St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab across a range of procedures, with a focus on patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science with a strong human physiology component.
• Experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography and PCI procedures.
• Postgraduate clinical experience within a cardiovascular suite, including haemodynamic monitoring.
• Knowledge of cardiac pacing principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Cardiac Cath Lab team to manage workload in a busy clinical environment.
• Support a range of procedures across the cath lab including PCI, angiography and mapping.
• Apply clinical knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Location: St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Spring Hill QLD, opposite Roma Street Parkland and a short walk to Brisbane CBD

Remuneration: $47.70 - $68.01 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in our St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital team

Working collaboratively within our multidisciplinary Cardiac Cath Lab team, you’ll use your clinical knowledge and expertise while effectively managing and prioritising your workload in a busy clinical environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of procedures, including:

• Cardiac catheterisation and coronary angiography
• Percutaneous coronary intervention, including coronary lithotripsy, IVUS and OCT
• Haemodynamic monitoring
• Electrophysiology
• Cardiac rhythm device therapy and CIED procedures
• Cardiac mapping and ablation
