Responsibilities

• Wash and dry vehicles after repair.

• Keep wash bay and equipment clean and tidy.

Car Washer / Vehicle Presenter (detailer) – Smash Repair | Windsor NSW

Bowen Smash Repairs is a busy panel shop in Windsor. We’re looking for a reliable car washer to get repaired vehicles clean and ready to hand back to our customers. This is the last step before the customer sees their car, so attention to detail matters more than experience.

The role

Wash and dry vehicles after repair

Vacuum and wipe down interiors, removing all dust from the dash, vents, door trims, seats and boot

Remove masking tape, overspray, and polish and polish compound residue from panels, rubbers, glass and trims

Light hand polishing where needed

Check the car for anything left behind or not refitted (clips, badges, trims, parts), and check with Production team if anything looks missing or not right

Keep the wash bay and equipment clean and tidy

Move vehicles around the yard as needed

About you

Takes pride in a job done properly, and notices the small things others miss

Reliable and punctual, and happy to work steadily through the day

Current NSW driver’s licence (needed to move cars)

Car washing or detailing experience is a bonus but not required, as we’ll show you how we do it
