Job summary

Sunshine Coast Cars & Utes Pty Ltd – Coolum QLD is seeking a reliable detailer to join our team. Your primary role will be vehicle detailing and preparing our cars for sale, including washing, vacuuming, buffing and taking photos for listings.

You will also assist customers when needed, show cars, answer basic questions, and arrange test drives. Training and licence support are available to help you grow into sales if desired.

Qualifications

• Previous car detailing experience preferred.
• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable speaking with customers and providing basic vehicle information.

Responsibilities

• Washing, vacuuming and cleaning vehicles to a high standard.
• Buffing & polishing surfaces and keeping the detailing area clean and organised.
• Taking photos of vehicles for sale and presenting each car well.
• Occasionally assist customers: show vehicles, answer basic questions, and arrange test drives.

Sunshine Coast Cars & Utes Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable detailer & customer support to join our team!

Full Time

Your primary responsibility will be vehicle detailing and preparing our cars for sale.

Including:

• Washing, vacuuming and cleaning vehicles
• Buffing & polishing surfaces
• Keeping the workshop and detailing area clean and organised
• Ensuring every vehicle is presented to a high standard
• Taking photos of vehicles for sale

You will also occasionally assist customers when the owners or sales staff are busy or unavailable.

Including:

• Showing customers around vehicles
• Answering basic questions about the cars
• Letting customers go on test drives

Customer service is not the main part of the job – detailing will be your primary responsibility. However, we are looking for someone who is friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers when needed.

If you assist a customer and that leads to a sale, you will receive a sales COMMISION!

If you’re interested in learning more about vehicle sales, we are happy to support you in obtaining your Salesperson Licence.

We can pay for your training and assist with organising your licence.

This gives you the opportunity to start primarily as a detailer and potentially develop your skills and earn additional commission through vehicle sales.
