About the Role

Captain Starlight is a playful, imaginative performer who brings creativity, fun and connection to children in hospitals, clinics and remote communities across Australia.

We’re currently looking for Casual team members to join our Monash Children’s Hospital team! You will join a vibrant team creating positive moments for children and families during some of their most challenging times. In this role you will:

• Make a real and positive difference to the lives of others.
• Be part of our diverse, national team of more than 160 talented actors and performers, each bringing their own skills, creative strengths and professional networks.

About You

• You’re a master of quick-thinking, reading a room and delivering exceptional experiences in a safe, imaginative, and entertaining way.
• You’re authentic, playful, and love collaborating with others to create memorable moments.
• The Captain Starlight character is an extension of you - they are positive, warm, and able to change the mood of a room through playfulness and fun.

The minimum criteria for this position is a bachelor’s degree (or higher qualification) or at least five years of performance experience.
