Job summary

Labourforce is seeking experienced pick packers with a forklift ticket for roles centred around the Wangara/Neerabup area. The role requires high reach and counterbalance forklift experience in Australia, with 2+ years’ experience preferred.

RF scanners and pick sheets used daily to complete packing tasks. The candidate must be able to work a Mon-Fri roster on full-time hours, with day shifts from 7am (or 6am starts).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years High Reach forklift experience in Australia.
• Counterbalance forklift experience in a warehouse setting in Australia.
• Experience with pick packing using RF scanners and pick sheets.
• Ability to lift 30 kg repeatedly throughout shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer literate with good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Job description

Labourforce have several clients based around the Wangara/Neerabup area who are currently seeking experienced pick packers with a forklift ticket - Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift experience is a requirement (minimum of 2 years of high reach forklift experience in Australia).

About the role:

• Must be able to work a roster from Monday - Friday (FT hours)
• AM (day) Shifts on Offer (7am/6am starts)
• Set pay rate from $33.38p/h (inclusive of casual loading)
• Immediate starts available upon successful medical & interview!
• Duties include pick packing (RF scanners and pick sheets), loading/unloading trucks with counter balance forklift, High reach forklift operations for picking pallets, HEAVY manual handling (25-30kgs throughout the duration of your shift)

You will need:

• Unlimited working rights in Australia (hours are full time, temp to perm opportunity so WHV will not be considered due to the 6 month working restriction)
• High Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience in a warehouse enviornment, in Australia is essential (minimum of 2 years) (loading/unloading trucks, reaching up to 8 bays high picking pallets, full pallet picks and part pallet picks)
• Have excellent recent pick pack experience (use of RF scanners and pick sheets)
• Previous experience with and ability to meet KPI's
• Ability to lift 30kg repetitively throughout the 8 hour shift
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be computer literate
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Be fit, healthy and able to perform heavy lifting when required
• High level of pride in work
• Ability to work well within a team environment
