Job summary

IPAR, part of the MedHealth network, seeks a Rehabilitation Consultant in Canberra to deliver tailored occupational rehabilitation for clients recovering from workplace injury or illness. You will guide return-to-work goals within a multidisciplinary team and support high-quality outcomes.

The role welcomes new graduates and offers hands-on learning with Rehabilitation Assistants, across workers' compensation, third party, life insurance and related schemes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• Full professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA accreditation or eligibility to obtain upon graduation.
• Experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Deliver tailored occupational rehabilitation to help clients return to health and work.
• Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals and insurers to align rehabilitation goals.
• Prepare timely, high-quality reports outlining findings, recommendations and clinical reasoning.
