Ideal applicants will have a White Card, Working with Children Check, and at least 6 months of Grounds Keeping or Handyman experience. A valid driver's licence and police clearance are desirable. This position is hourly and casual.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in Grounds Keeping or Handyman (highly desirable).
• Able to model and maintain ethos and traditions of the College.
• Well organized, accurate, creative and innovative.

Responsibilities

• Hands on Maintenance & Grounds Keeping of a College.
• Use of garden tools to assist with gardening duties when requested.
• Upkeep and general cleaning of school grounds daily, including cleaning of building exteriors.
• Manage waste disposal: General and Recycling.
• Use of small power tools and hand tools to maintain outdoor furniture.
• Sports field maintenance and line marking.
• Upkeep of AC enclosures, spoon drains and blow pipe drains.
• Assist with set-up for college functions when required.
