Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Maitland is seeking a creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator for Catholic Schools in Newcastle West NSW. This full-time, 11-month parental leave opportunity focuses on telling school stories through campaigns, content and digital channels, partnering with school leaders and the wider Communications team.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, relationship and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills – written, visual and verbal.
• Experience with editing photographs and writing, proofreading and editing written content.
• Experience with social media and online content across a range of platforms.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills and capacity for multi-tasking.
• Familiarity with current marketing and communications practices and processes and awareness of emerging trends.
• Experience with Microsoft; Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and eDm packages.
• CMS experience.
