Job summary

PATHWAYS TO WORK'S WORKING BEE PTY LTD – Smithfield NSW is seeking an Employment Support Worker (Canteen/Micro Cafe All Rounder) on a permanent or casual basis. The role provides hands-on support to participants with disability, promoting choice, dignity and inclusion while developing practical workplace skills.

You will deliver one-on-one and small group support, foster independence, safety, and teamwork, and assist with food service tasks and hospitality duties.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Working with Children Check where required.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver Licence is required.
• National Police Check is required.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group workplace support.
• Assist participants to learn employment skills at an individual pace.
• Promote independence with appropriate supervision.
• Build participants' confidence, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Promote safe work practices and workplace safety.
• Support participants to understand workplace expectations and routines.
• Encourage positive workplace behaviours and teamwork.
• Identify barriers to work performance and report concerns.
• Assist participants to achieve goals in their NDIS and employment plans.
