Job summary

Wagners CFT invites applicants to join its Cadet Heavy Rigid Driving Program on the Gold Coast. The role trains you to safely operate an agitator truck, delivering concrete products to local customers.

Training includes a six-week hands-on period with paid HR licence, starting at 4:00am–6:00am shifts and progression to a higher rate once competent. Positions are available in Coolum, Narangba and the Gold Coast (Carrara and Yatala).

Qualifications

• Class C driver licence held for at least two years.
• Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliability and transport available.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks (medical, police, traffic history).
• Learn from experienced drivers and operators in a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Operate an agitator truck as part of the Concrete business after training.
• Deliver concrete products to local customers.
• Join locations including Coolum, Narangba, Gold Coast, Carrara and Yatala.

Cadet Heavy Rigid (HR) Driving Program – no experience required

• We provide the training and pay for your HR licence.

About the role

You will join our Concrete business and be trained to safely operate an agitator truck, delivering concrete products to local customers.

With multiple roles on offer, we have positions available in Coolum, Narangba and the Gold Coast (Carrara and Yatala). We strongly encourage women to apply for this opportunity.

What we offer

• Permanent full-time work, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays (at penalty rates)
• $27.23 per hour, with an increase to $28.98 once you are competent
• Shifts start between 4:00am and 6:00am
• Paid HR licence, training and lessons

About you

• Class C driver licence held for at least two years and reliable transport
• Construction White Card, or willingness to obtain one
• A positive attitude and commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to complete pre-employment checks, including medical, police and traffic history checks
• Learn from experienced drivers and operators in a supportive team.
